You will need the petal assembly, clutch hydralics, clutch and flywheel, M6 harness, the tranny mount, hole for shifter, m6 upper center console. Probably need to tune out the auto. Probably a couple more odds and ends. I've never done a auto to manual swap or vice versa, but thats what I can think of right now that you will need.
Also M6 trannys can take a hefty amount of power so unless your putting it behind a beast, you shouldn't need to beef it up. They are rated at 450 ft lbs and there are plenty of people running stock m6s with 400-450 rwhp and tq, but once you get there with a M6 your weak spot would be the rear end...

My most recent setup through an auto should be around 450/415 so I would think the numbers will go up some with an m6 swap. That's why I was asking about upgrades. Your list is pretty much what I was thinking too. Only concerns I have is the wiring harness how to remove from inside car and what kinda flywheel for a 383. Also best clutch.
I'm kinda done with racing and want a play toy now. Gonna piece together everything this winter. May run the car once more before the swap.
I have a v6 pedal assembly. Are they the same? That's all I have. Anyone else have anything I need?

You could put a viper mainshaft in it if you want to make it indestructible...stock should be sufficient though. You may want to rebuild it depending on how many miles are on it or if there are any issues with syncros ect. such as popping out of gear. Mine had to be rebuilt at 150K FWIW.

The V6 was a 5 speed tranny and therefore I am not so sure if it uses the same clutch hydraulics as the 6, might be the same petals? Don't hold me to that though. No idea where to start with the wiring.. There are a couple companys that make some nice lightweight flywheels, just gotta find one in your price range I guess.
Competition seems to be a popular choice lately for clutches, check the 2.5 out or possibly the 3 with the power your putting down if you are gonna be stomping on it. Other good clutch companies would be Zoom, Spec, and Ram to name a few.

I just brought a new t56 wiring harness on ebay for $87 just search 93-02 t56 harness and you'll see it. As far as upgrades I brought everything from Tick to do a stage2 build, steel 3-4 shift fork, bronze shift fork pads for 1-6, billet shift keys, new 1-2/3-4/5-6 syncros and new carbon fiber blocking rings and snap rings. The kit also has new bearings, gaskets and seals and hopefully my buddy and I will get it rebuilt this weekend. I'm also going to drill and tap the trans to add the electric pump to supply fluid to the front of the trans under wot use, then once I buy the pump, lines and fittings I won't have to remove the trans to hook everything up.

Congrats on scoring a t56. The swap is pretty easy to do. Getting the old **** out was the most difficult part for me.
For when the time comes for the swap, save the headache and pull the steering column when you remove and install pedals. You'll be glad you did
Also, the m6 harness isn't necessary. The rewiring instructions are very simple and there isn't much to rewire.
Also, your auto tranny mount will work just fine as they are the same as m6. Just need the m6 crossmember. Be on the hunt for an m6 torque arm mount if your newly aquired transmission doesn't already have one attached.
