383 ?
magnum is about 4lbs lighter than dragonslayer and also has smoothed and profiled counterweights.........the stealth crank im not too familiar with.....i think its a slightly older callies crank.....i though some of them were 5140 forgings and not nitrated but i could be wrong......im not familiar with the stealths
What the hell Is with all the new members and 383 questions and builds these days .. Anyone else notice?
A budget 383 will run you around $5000+ in just the motor, not to mention the mods needed to use it and put it to the ground. I've been building since feb'11. And there is no "kit" there may be rotating assembly "kits" but that Is just the tip of the iceberg ..

tpis built me engine at first about 3 or 4 years ago and they said the stealh can hold more hp than the dragonslayer. i never heard of magnum and i think i paid like 2400 for it if i remember it and my engine was built to handle 400+ shot of nitrous. now i have twin 72mm turbos

Do a search. Don't you think that question has been asked before?
Here is a quick one I found

Nothing wrong with suggesting a search. There is a thousand times more information compiled in a ton of forums that will yield FAR MORE info than this one puny thread.
Alot of people are ignorant of the search feature. Fortunately LT1s have been around for almost 20 years now - there's literally gigs of information out there on how to build a proper 383.

I did some research on yellowbullet and found that the dragonslayer and magnum cranks are made from the same base forging, but the magnum has extra lightening and hand knife edging like you said.
yup....i know the current callies cranks but i dont know aobut the older stuff.....
