Block material is iron.

Pistons are Hypereutetic

Connecting rod depended on year. Early/late were Powdered or Pink. I can't remember which was which though.

As for the fuel systems, 92-93 LT1's were batch fire with 22LB injectors.

Good write up.

Easy one:

93-95 were rated at 275/325
96-97 were rated at 285/325
96-97 WS6 and SS were rated at 305/335
93-97 Firehawks were rated at 315/340

I'm positive 100% sure on the HP numbers, sketchy on the TQ numbers for all but the first two lines.

A caprice LT1 should be pretty similar, the one big difference that I know of is iron heads instead of aluminum... not sure about anything else.

The Caprice/Impy SS cars came with the iron heads as the major difference. I want to say that they got a less agressive cam than the F-Body too, as they were only rated at like 240-260 HP.

Conrods were forged until mid year 95, when they changed to the powdered metal crap. But I guess that's how the General justified the cost of the vented opti-spark units.
