alot of the color output i found to be manufacture specific.....8000 like i run are generally colored but mine are pure white instead of others that i have seen to be blue....on the other hand though i put 8000 in my foglights and the first set almost looked pink while the second set turned out the same as my headlights...now i just need to still do my highs because those are the silverstars still and are very yellow looking when i flash them

+1 on silverstar ultra. I had the xtravision before and there was a minor but noticeably Increase in vision and color.

The quick and easy best replacement headlight bulb you can just bolt in is the SylvaniaH4666ST. Buy them in pairs. 'bout twenty bucks at Pep Boys/AutoZone.

Stay away from any tinted or colored lights, they just filter out other colors to make another stand out equaling less light.

There are euro type lights on the market that take a pop in bulb but you'll need to do some wiring.

Just did this.

BTW, the lamps I just took out were dated 11/93! Even when they were both working it's no wonder I could hardly see anything at night!

9006 lamps go into a housing. This is the conversion setup. Standard sealed beam headlights is what came on the car.
