Default Hooker Catback or True Duals?

Alright so heres the deal, my trans went, I had to sell my Magnaflow catback, & E-cutout, and my corsa clones, so I could buy a transmission...

When Installing the transmission I cut the Y pipe off, havent welded it back together yet...

Thinking about taking the rest of the y pipe off and running a 22" Powerstick muffler off each header with a turn down at the ends, No mid-pipe, Mufflers right off the header...

Or Recently I have been thinking about welding the y pipe up and going the quieter route with a Hooker Catback, off the forum for a good price?

I love loud cars soo my question is, how loud is the Hooker with Longtubes and o/r y pipe...

Magnaflow being 1, and SLP LM1 or GMMG being 10?

that TD set up will be a 13.

If you can absolutely get your TDs tucked up well, go TDs. Otherwise, like me, I'm switching to loudmouth with powerflo (don't remember the SLP mufflers name) mufflers off a flowmaster Y.

Run a full size mufffler like a Borla Pro XS or Magnaflow 4x9 if you run TDs. Or if you are feeling ambitious run GMMG TDs

I have the Hooker on my 97 stroker and on my cousins 97 stocker, They bothe sound pretty good under the gas, my car is outrageously loud.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36UdSVXcNB8

Here is a video when his car was completely stock, you can at least hear my car.

I just went from Hooker catback to td's with a x pipe and dynomax bullets. Although my car will not be street driven as much anymore. It's pretty damn loud and I am considering putting my hooker back on. The hooker is tame on idle but when you give it full throttle is sounds sick.

Ahhh its tough IDK what to do!!!

Another reason Im leaning towards duals is because, If i got the hooker I would want the tips to be chrome dipped, Im **** about the tips not matching my chrome ZO6's... and TD's would fix the tip matching problem lol

That is gonna be crazy loud off the headers if you drive the car a lot. I ran spiral flows off the headers for a while. It was cool and all but was really loud for city driving, after I got over 50mph it wasnt to bad though. I would at least run it to the rear axle with some turn downs.

Trust me loud gets old FAST. I have a dumped sprial flow and i loved it for the first month or two. Now its driving me crazy. Like zlow28 said get the hooker and cutout. I plan on doing what i should have in the first place soon custom y, fm merge, cutout, and a magnaflow or borla cb.

I run a Hooker Aerochamber system on my car with an electric cutout right before the rear axle. Obviously the videos in my sig are with the cutout open, but there are a few on my YouTube with them closed. Granted I'm heavily modded but you can hear the difference.

I'll reiterate the above - LOUD GETS OLD FAST.
