Default Who made the LT1 intake manifold with the long runners back in the late 90's?

Been searching all over for this but can't find the answer. Probably between 1998-2000 some company made an aftermarket LT1 intake manifold with long runners. Looked almost like the stock manifold too.

It's not the current Edelbrock air gap manifold nor is it a stealth intake. It was totally unique and it was a long time ago.

I wish I didn't throw out all those old GMHTP mags cause I know it was in there.

Edelbrock had made one that was discontinued before the air gap design.

I think you are thinking of the Accel Super ram modified TPI unit.

I don't think Edelbrock ever sold anything before the current joke

I think it was by Edelbrock as well. Might have to make some calls to find out.

Damn. Can't find any info on this intake at all anywhere on the net. It must have done horribly for them to discontinue it.

I saw it in a few adds in some old Super Chevy magazines, other wise didn't think they were all to popular or even made production.

That old Edelbrock intake never made it to production. I know...I had one on order for like 22 months before Summit said "Never mind, Edelbrock decided not to make it."

If i remeber right. The intake had longer runners the were curved along the roof of the intake similar to the dodge magnum truck intakes.

It must have been a real POS if even Edelbrock's second attempt at making a LT1 manifold (air gap) STILL couldn't make a worthwhile improvement in HP over stock.
