Is there a generic way to reset the pcm back to its factory settings?

Why would you want to return it back to stock? most people purchase the PCM have software to tune for their setup, no need to return it to stock, but if you want to, take it to the chevy dealer, (Has to be in the car) they cant bench program and they will flash a stock tune for app $100 then you can sell it for $50.00

The right buyer would be a self tuner that just fried their own pcm and has a bin waiting to be loaded, or has a stock bin.

MY pcm is bad, but my car only has a few bolt ons. I need a close to factory tune. Trying to figure out the easiest way to do it.

Buy a OBD1 cable. Download winflash. Use stock bin from the internet or get someone to email you one (I have one for a 94/t56 bolt on car). Upload bin to the pcm after it is installed. Might sound complicated... it's not.
