A little late getting in on this, but I DO have a goal for 2012:
..be the world's quickest stock bottom B-body
Already the quickest ImpalaSS running the stock bottom, but there's a gutted Caprice that has gone 10.46 at Cecil County.

I'll try this Sunday at the Kentucky Horsepower Shootout (Frank's shooting for a new best there too ). And the backup plan: Cecil County Nov 17th baby!!!!

Didn't really set the goals I wanted. But I did acquire some nice parts that I didn't think I would.

Got some Comp Pro Mag Ultra 1.6RRs, ARP studs, guideplates, and LT4 springs to throw on my stock cam. Have to install yet.

Bought a new Strange S60 with 4.10s and an S-trac, Chromoly driveshaft, Adjustable Panhard, And New LCAs. New clutch, New NT05R DRs, bought a rebuilt 1996 T-56, (blew mine up a month after the clutch was installed...) and I also just installed a Dakota Digital box to correct my speedometer finally!

Next years goal is a 12.9x with boltons. I want to hit 12's just to say I did with boltons then i'll really tear into the car.

I want to have a nice drag setup before my local track opens in April. Prostar skinnies and 15x8 Rears with slicks and since I have that S60 I'm gonna really hit it hard.

I'm going to say yes 100% even though I didn't complete one goal yet.

1. Wanted to win the Extreme Street N/A class at the LTX Shootout for a third year in a row. mission accomplished.

2. Wanted to run faster than last year. accomplished.

3. Wanted the car to to sixty foot in the 1.3's on motor. accomplished.

4. Wanted to run a 10.60 this goal will get accomplished I believe if I can get to the track one more time before they close in some good da.

The car is finally running again and ready for track testing. Been down since 2009 when the stock 10 bolt crapped out and took the trans with it. Converted to 24X LS pcm, new FLT 4l60e, spooled S60, and did a lot of suspension upgrades.

Butch, I would be willing to bet you go a 10.80 maybe a .70 in this air.

Good luck.

Butch, You're passing up a real gimme if you don't come over to Cecil Co. on the 17th ! With what you've done to it, it'll go a 10.80 there for sure
Come out and play!
I've been on the edge of my seat for too long now waiting for your 10.XX

Yeah, it's a shame everything around me is closed this time of year. The further south you go, the more candyasses you will find
I had more fall/winter opportunities to run when I lived up in Iowa! Cordova used to even have a New Years Eve event. They might still for all I know.
