Exhaust banging pulling timing cut out???

It sucks, I can't believe I didn't see this sooner. I feel like a freaking idiot, it's not dripping on the shop floor until I made it worse just by accident. I just hope the opti is not shot. With the over the valve cover wires, there is really no good way to run the 2 4 6 8 wire's except in a ball of wires up behind the alternator. Comes out of the opti and then goes straight up between the accessory bracket and the block. I don't know if the coolant is causing the wires to ark because of the close proximity to each (touching) other of if the coolant is actually disrupting spark from the opti. I've searched and searched for pictures of the way people have done there wires, and I guess that's the only way to do it.

my wires are ran over the covers... what i did was run them in between the waterpump and the accessory bracket up to where the alt is... then over the top, never goes were the stock routing was. and it's all fairly organized...
