Default LE 232/240 cam

Has anyone ran the lE cam 232/240 578/574 on 110 lsa on stock heads and if so how did it do an what did u shift at on a m6 fbody and 411 rear gears
My buddy is thinking about buying that cam used but doesn't know if it is to big or if it would hurt more than help

stock longblock... put it on a 107lsa installed one or two degrees advanced.

Same recommendation. Need average horsepower to make it run. With that much duration, the more overlap and earlier IVC the better.

I run something similar in my 355 with a lot more lift partly due to 1.7 rockers.

Mine is on a wide LSA though both for nitrous use and carrying out the power band and shift extension. I need to trade off a little tq down low because with the compression and cam size it should be in abundance.

I would only run that in a stock short block in a Max effort type of deal. Gear and stall it to where it needs to run or it will be a little doggy

Not with a stock block and not with stock heads. ARP the rods and mains, get a fresh set of rings, at minimum LE1 heads then yes.
