Default LT1 build help

All Right guys, I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck here. I have set a budget of 3,000ish. I want to stay N/A and reach about 400 rwhp. I have been looking into Lloyd Elliott's Heads/cam/intake package and thinking about going with the LE1 set up with the larger LE2 cam. With maybe a 58mm throttle body and long tubes. After all is said and done I will probably be spraying the car with a 125 wet shot as well. So that being said what are your guy's thoughts?

That is what I've been told by the guys on my local form, I'm sure it won't last but I'll run it till it gives. It is an m6, I'll also have the stock clutch in it for awhile too it will be a race to see which one goes first!

I think you'll want LE2's if you really want the 400rwhp, it would just make things easier and would probably be a necessity if you're working with an automatic car.

Don't forget to budget for these things if you don't have them already:

-Injectors
-Fuel pump (Racetronix 255 w/hotwire kit is the way you want to go probably)
-Throttle body, 52mm would probably suffice
-Longtube Headers/ORY/good catback
-Some form of cold air intake wouldn't be a bad idea either

So how much money do you have now? 400whp is going to cost you around $3500-$4000 especially starting from scratch.

You probably should toss the budget out the window lol. Just buy good/right parts and keep stacking them till you have everything you need. Then install it.

Don't cheap out when you start running out of money. Just save more.
