It's worth a couple of horsepower. So if a few horses are worth 70 bucks and some busted knuckles then go for it. what mods are you currently running.

Underdrive pullies are a better mod on vehicles with belt driven waterpumps where there is greater load to reduce. I am sure that is why the LT1 gains are so much lower than the 8-15 in the Summit description.

Underdrives tend to cause charging issues on stock cars too, if cammed the raised idle can offset that.

I don't have one on my car, if I were to do an upgrade like this I would buy an underdrive damper which would shave some rotating weight for further gains but again even at the level I am playing at I have a stocker.

I would put the money towards gears and a tune.

well im thinking about tune, gears or headers. but if you could pick one to come first what would you do? i would be doing either 390's or 410's with the m6.

since your running a stick I'd get the tune and some DR's since you've free up the intake and exhaust already. A good tuneup and new coil goes a long way.

My mods went like this.

1.CAI
2.CAT and muffler elimination
3.Tune
4. 1.6RR, valve springs, coil wires plugs, 100 horse nitrous, converter, all at the same time.
5. Cam
6. Retune, colder plugs and 150 shot
