Default Cylinder #2 Piston MISSING !!!

All -

After 196,000 miles, with the last 60,000 miles on meth and boost (starting at 11 psi, then moving up to 13 psi about 6 months ago) - I finally had some engine 'trouble' - I lost the #2 piston and wrapped the (forged) con rod around the crank.

(I thought everyone would enjoy a couple views of the carnage.)

UPDATE: See post #26 for pic of my 'slightly bent' connecting rod.

Good stuff!

So, what was it doing when it happened (WOT/idle/cold start/etc)?

Guessing rod bent first and then crank swung around and pow3d the piston.

UPDATE:

Explosion = Steady State 55 MPH; I was not 'beating on it' on that particular day, but that does not mean that I've haven't in the past.

Meth = Snow system; One gallon -20 WW fluid + 2 quarts of 91 Percent Rubbing Alcohol

(Time for more cubes!)

I'll bet you can find the piston in the center console.
