New toys - installed w/ teaser pics
I didnt think everything would show up today but they did. Only thing Im still waiting on are the Mac mids and y-pipe
Flowmaster 3" single in/out SOTL system with a 30-series muffler. This system is no longer made, neither are 3" 30-series mufflers. I searched for a week before finding this one. Several vendors show it in stock when theyre actually drop-shipped from Flowmaster so they end up having to tell the customer its not available. The ones that actually have it in stock have the 40-series muffler. Its essentially the same as a Mufflex system in 3"
4" Corsa clones
3" stainless clamps to replace the Flowmaster u-bolt clamps
Allflow 'catalytic converter'
I'll prolly put the exhaust and tips on this weekend and the headers and cat next weekend...should be fun either way

I have one of these systems brand new in the box for sale right now. I also have a used one too. They supposedly flow more than any of the crossflow systems, but I just can't give up the dual exhaust look. BTW....what are you going to do with those Corsa clones when you only have one 3" tailpipe?

Everything installed this past week
First off, oddly the Flowmaster system fit and tucked much better than the Borla it replaced. I ran the exhaust through the driver side tip - within a few minutes of cruising around, it was crooked and turning yellow. At that point, I cut the outlet, mounted a turn-down, and dummy-mounted both tips with my homemade brackets

should mention I also installed some TR-55s and 9mm wires with the Mac headers - entire swap took around 4hrs with only one hiccup (broke my starter)
The Macs fit better than the stock manifolds and the y-pipe tucks up a good 3" higher than stock. I need a tune but my butt dyno says I picked up 20hp if not more - best part is the car is quieter on the inside at all rpms with no drone, resonance, or rasp whatsoever. Outside its nice and deep at idle and high-pitched, almost exotic sounding at wot
Local muffler shop welding the 'cat' and tucking everything as high as possible. The lowest part of the exhaust is still an inch above the bottom of the k-member

Lookin Good!! Hopefully Chris (duh) will see this thread and get an idea how it's going to sound and look installed. He just bought my Flowmaster kit and left me some much appreciated feedback. (Thank you)
If you had posted this a few weeks ago, I might not have sold it. I'd never considered the dummy exhaust tips idea.

I just paid attention! Actually my kit is already on the car with the Pacesetter LT's I've had. I love it! I rean it all the way to the back and welded everything up. Sounds great, it's actually a lot mellower than the Same setup from my Thirdgen. I might just have to get a video clip of it for you guys!

Nice looking setup! I Love single 3" that dont show any tip. Despite the fact you have both tips out back hahaha. The only weird thing would be when its cold or theirs alot of moisture in the air and you can really see the exhaust flow. People im sure will think your car is broken You went with the Mac mid-length headers right? I had them on my car and now there on my friends car. They fit Perfectly both times.
