Hit up T/A Kid about this. It looks like he got pretty close to finishing his set up.

Looks like this project kind of went the way of the Dart LTX big block.

IF I get bored or get straped for cash I may sell mine at some point. I don't want to be a tease, but I should have a clip of mine up soon (hopefully next week)

Nah, it will happen.

This guy may work slow, but he is determined. He has been working on this project for probably 5 or 6 years now...drops from the face of the earth for a year, then pops back out of nowhere with an update. There was already at least one version he made that worked, but then he tore it apart to make it better.

He is taking it way beyond just a cut/weld job, and all the custom things are big TIME and MONEY sinks.

I'm hoping the project is still alive. Haven't heard anything from him in a while.

Little update on my build, got everything cranked up and looking at hp tuner scan doing a cold start at 57 ECT and 57 IAT (IAT in base) and just idle with no driving when ECT was 212 IAT's were 108. Not bad considering a PD blower no intercooler with an ambient temp of 60 degrees sitting still inside my shop. Driving would have lowered the IATs probably 30-40 degrees. This blower runs cooler than a maggie 112 vette we had with an intercooler.

Here is a pic of it in the car.

This blower is very quiet at idle especially with the small 214/218 cam I have, much quieter than the procharger.

WITH ALL OF THIS BEING SAID, I have decided to step my build up a notch with some Converted SBC heads and I want to redesign the base some. So instead of cutting this one up some and re-welding I am going to start from scratch again.

I am thinking about selling this base plate For $900 if anyone is interested(that the amount I have in it). It accepts a magnacharger bypass valve and of course the 2.9 whipple will bolt right on. Uses the outer 8 bolt holes to bolt up to LTX heads. I will throw in the Fuel rail for another $90 (but if not I will tell you what part number will work for this manifold) Bung in the front for a 3/8 npt IAT and another bung for my hobbs switch for my second fuel pump to see boost. Uses a 1206 intake gasket (matched my LE AFR heads)

If anyone is interested PM me, I plan to get more pics in the next day and put it in the for sale section. THought I would do an update of my findings and post here first.
