I've talked to OP, Gave me some pointers, he's really a nice guy.

He's been very busy with work lately, but does want to open up a business selling these. I won't say any more than that

if he makes that base flexible to work on ls1's he'll improve the market spread, but might sell 50-100 max

I for one hope that he sticks with it. I'd like to see this become a reality for those that do want to stay with the LT1!

I agree I would love to see this become available... I just have a hard time believing that even if it dose come to market (which I doubt it will at this point) he would end up wanting an astronomical amount of money aside from the cost of the actual blower itself (the last time i checked they were right around 4k) For the money you would have in this setup you could easily have gone with a centrifugal and probably made the same if not better power without all the low end harshness that a twin screw is going to give... would it be fun and awesome yes! a thousand times yes! would it be cost efficient and a smart decision... absolutely not unless he can somehow sell it to whipple to sell as a kit for under 6-7k

It's the whipple curse. I think I've now seen at least three different threads from three different people over the years who state they are in the works of fabricating this for a LT1 and soon after they are never seen, nor heard from again.

A centri is the way to go anyway. Get away from a heat soaking roots blower.

Bah! Fooled me again with this "getting close" nonsense.....OP, updates?!?! Failures are part of life, just admit it, learn something from it, and move on! Or prove me wrong!

Agreed on centri's, way less heat soak issues and alot easier to keep the air cool

Or better than both whipple or centrifugal.... I'd really like to see one of the new ultra compact Eaton R1740 TVS superchargers with an integrated air-to-water intercooler on top of an LT1, the one the new 2015 Zo6 Corvette is sporting

635 lb-ft STOCK is pretty stout in my book!

only problem with those just as the roots is they heat soak real bad too... lotta zr1 guys complain about it. Great for a street car that rarely gets beat on but for something thats gonna see track duty and needs consistency its not a good route to go

Yeah, it's the latest and greatest supercharger series from Eaton, probably won't hit the aftermarket for a year or two, considering the 2015 ZO6 LT4 is the first production application of it; it is very small...only 1 inch higher than the LT1 NA engine, yet it outperforms the outgoing ZR1 LS9: http://www.enginelabs.com/news/lt4-e...wer-is-coming/
