You have inspired me to hold off on selling my LT car.. Im waiting to see how this whipple build of yours works out.. If you can come close to what I make on a 200 hit and direct port and racegas and make the whipple reliable you got a customer.. The idea of having an LT1 with a whipple to drive around the streets with is a perfect street setup.

OP hasn't been on in over a month.

 

He's not a big poster. He has been working on this project for years, well before he started this thread, and has gone many months without updates before.

Something of this magnitude takes a lot of time and money, but after coming this far I'm sure he will get the job done. Just give it time and keep your eye out .

However, I should hopefully have pics of my Whipple build this week almost done with the manifold. I'll start a thread.

Also for those wanting to run an intercooler under the roots, it will only increase the height by 1.5" so figure lower engine mounts and you should have enough before you hit the cowl panel.
