Default Lt1 struts suggestion

I an lowering my car 1.5in. Front and rear and I have read that all that needs done is to just buy smaller springs? But I am in need of struts either way. Not anything to fancy I want to stay kind of fair price but good quality as well. Any help would be appreciated. As of now I don't know where to start. Thanks everyone!

Search the suspension section for more/better info

In short, Bilstein shocks will be by-far the best budget option

You want shocks. 4th gens don't have struts.

I know your question is mainly about shocks, but you might want to pick up an adjustable panhard bar, too. This lets you re-center your diff after you install the springs and shocks.

Absolutely not. They are coil-over shocks. Not the same thing.

That's funny because in the parts computer it says kyb struts, bilstein struts then for the rear it says shocks. Coil overs are adjustable as struts are not.

That's funny, the GM parts catalog calls it a shock.

All you have to do is look at it and you know it isn't a strut (presuming you know the difference). Coil-overs can be adjustable or non-adjustable. A lot of the "parts computers" call it wrong. I guess they are still thinking 3rd gen.

A strut replaces the upper control arm and is part of the suspension itself. A shock just provides dampening for the suspension.

KYB is a good shock. I'm running them with my BMR springs. And have gotten good results.

Ow and they are shocks NOT struts
