Now I remember why I haven't posted in there - when I hit reply I get stuck in a loading loop and get the "Connection failed to remote server" error . Might be Opera not playing nice, I'm gonna try IE (cringes) to see if that works...
I use google chrome and it has never given me a problem.

I think the site just hates me. I realized it only does it when I try to open multiple links in different tabs(only 1 connection per IP I guess).

Also just noticed that I have been a YB member for like 3 years, lurker for ages, yet have 0 posts. While replying to a thread just now I noticed the whole "Post pending Moderator Approval" thing and noticed that I have 0 posts . Made a post in the Noob thread and it posted instantly, so I guess I'm good to go now??? Dont want to reply agian and **** off the mods since i probably have 3 posts pending with them now from different threads I responded to today after retrieving my password.

sigh. All I wanted to do was tease Sikora with a pic of his old Supervic and that damn site drove me to the liqour freezer!

Thanks AC for getting this post started, My car has basically been sitting there since the race. Looking at these pics "DID" get me motivated and I started working on my car again, Little things like putting the tail lights back on, door locks, handles ect, But at least I got started doing something. I made a list of what I need to have done to be ready and it will take some time, as everyone knows, The shootout will be here before we know it....

No prob! I watch the vids I posted anytime Im not feeling the LTX itch and it always helps. Haha!

I didnt do much with my car after the shootout either...... Oh wait Nevermind. I put on a chassis mount TA, the blew up my slip yoke next pass at the track, came home put a MW yoke on then pulled the T56 when I noticed I chewed up the rear seal and bushing in favor of a Th350 then went back to the track got 3 passes in and my water pump blew out a pressed in fitting and almost lost the car on the big end. Fixed that and ran out of time for more testing. Now Im just waiting for a nice day to turn the car around in the garage to pull the motor and put in the new 383.
Heres my last pass of the year. Horrible 60ft combined with the pump failing and drenching the rear tires about 1000ft out. Notice all the smoke at the end. Scary ride! lol Pass should have been mid 10s if it went smooth.

I'm sure it would be fun to put faces to names that I see on LS1tech too and be able to talk to everyone about LT1s all day long.
im from the hastings area, maybe i should tag along with you guys lol

if they came out with aftermarket blocks and gave us more heads options it would just give me more to dream about... sadly im just a poor college kid

just finish seeing all the pictures!!! beautiful cars. i hope to be ready for this shoot out as well. been a lt1 fan for a while.

There was some nice improvenments in parts made for lt1 this pass year. Hopefully it will keep lt1 guys pushing the records. I also wonder if dart will ever reconsider the aftermarket block for the lt1(if lt1 market ever grew enough to make it worth there effort)
