Currently my attention has shifted back to bikes while my shortblock is in the machine shop being reassembled (flycutting the SRP pistons and switching to NA rings since it had them gapped for lots of nitrous)...still plan on going to the shootout with the GF, I just might not have the car with me. Still have a LOT to do to the lil' LT1, but hoping to at least get the motor on an engine dyno for break-in before the end of the year.

What I was doing too. Until two days ago. When I hit a pothole and ripped the rear tire. Rode on it flat for 3 miles. Got it towed by the dealer I bought it from. Tow strap broke. Bike went down in truck bed. Broke ****. They have to replace. Bike is down for at least a week if not more. **** them and me.
So this weekend I will be working on the '56 and the '96...

Watching these videos makes me want to go hook on Eight Mile just to get my Z finished... JK. This **** is killing me.
I tell you what, I cannot wait for this year. I really hope we break the record at this Shootout, and nowhere else. It will give us some claim to fame...

Look on the bright side, at least it wasn't the front tire that went. That could have been a nasty spill.

We have the same CI, both rear-mount systems, although I am still debating on the turbo size. I can't run ES P/A because I have an EBC and will probably run a two-step.
