Dynoed the Purple Car today....
Overally, for having everything it does, I'm not too pleased with the output. Granted, I'm still on a stock throttlebody, and the tune DEFINITELY needs some more work just by looking at the A/F ratio (the car was NOT detonating or anything at least), but 260/195@.550 flowing ported heads and a hotcam shouldn't be that low. TQ was good, but I have a feeling that may be gearing related more than anything. Hopefully I can come up with the cash to get the tune worked on over the next month before the next dyno day.
What do you all think??
GM Hotcam Kit
Ported Heads
K&N CAI
Holley Airfoil
Mac headers
Mac ORP
Flowmaster cat back with Dynomax muffler
PCM For less tuning
SVO 24# injectors
Meziere Electric Water Pump
I think the major hold ups are the tuning, cat-back system, and stock throttlebody. Once it gets tuned in I'm expecting to see at least 350+
Also, the car is really undergeared. It is an M6 swap, and has a built 95 T-56 with a 3.23 gear ratio in the rear.
The tune is from the Chip Guy at PCM For Less, and he and I speak pretty frequently. He is THE MAN when it comes to tuning 93's. He almost had my black car nailed on the first shot, and short of dyno tuning he's the best thing. I was making datamaster logs and he was tuning off of those. The tune in the car I'm speaking about in this post is an initial, first shot tune for the previous of the owner. It's about 1 1/2 years old, and the previous owner never had any adjustments made.
Who cares what it dynos, that color is awesome

SWEET RIDE!!!!!
jrod07, thanks for the compliments man. I bought the car just like she sits too. I've been looking for production numbers breakdown by color, but haven't found anything yet. I know it's one of the more rare colors. Which M6 do you have?? The M28 or M28?? Mine is an M6 swap, it was originally an A4.
My tranny is an M29
jrod07, seeing as how you have a 93, have you checked out the speed density forum yet?? It's 92-93 specific for LT1's, you may like it. Link in sig.
