Piston ?
The compression distance is different in these pistons. I'm not sure what exactly they mean and which one to think would be the better choice.

Compression height needed is dictated by stroke, rod length, and deck height.
If you tried to use a piston with a stock compression distance with a 6.0" rod on a 3.75" stroke the rings would come up past the deck of the block, or if you used a piston meant for a 5.700" rod stroker with a stock crank it would be half an inchish below the deck and make no compression atall.
So what crank and rods are you using?

The stock crank, I was considering using this rod if the price is for a set.
