Default first auto lt1

ive had 2 6 speed camaro's, i just bought my first auto lt1. im looking to swap the gears to a 410, whats a good size stall that would run good with 410s?

4.10's in an A4 can be a beast on the highway.. As for stall, I think the general concensus around here is 3600 minimum.

If its a street car id do 3600 if more drag raced 4k

gonna need some suspension to hook up a 4.10 gear with a decent sized stall...

Very much agree with this. My old Trans Am was an Auto with 4.10s. Get to work on that suspension or your gonna be burning up them tires a lot with a stall

What are plans and goals with the car? Kind of use ? DD, weekend warrior, gonna see track it alot? Does it have 2.73's or 3.23's now?

Not sure if your mind is set on 4.10's or not but people say 3.73's are a better gear to run. The 10 bolt can be setup better and seems to last longer with them ive heard.

As far as stall id say 3200 or 3600. If you get a good 3600 it shouldnt bother you too much.

Have you drivin any stalled autos? Id take one any day over a manual now, they are a blast. If i was road racing or auto cross I think I would stay with the 6 speed, but high stalls are fun from a stop. They really wake up how a car drives.
