I think my car could be a competitor in Street Stock this year, Ive got a 9" and 4.11s now so I can launch hard, just need rrs, springs and clutch to be FULL boltons, add 300lbs to make weight, and just need a truck to get me out there.

I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it this year unless a miracle happens and I come into A LOT of money. Just moved out to AZ and looking for a job, while the car, motor, heads, and trans are scattered all over IL being built/stored.

But everyone who goes, make sure to get good pics and videos because if its anything like that last 2 years, it's gonna be AWESOME!!

I just moved a vacation up to the last week of August. So, I am without excuse this year. Hopefully I'll manage to be done with the car, should be for sure.

LoL Mine isnt for racin either When my heads get here this week Im takin everything to the machine shop. It'll get the 396 treatment to handle my 2 stages threw the maf & Im either buyin a 4l60e off our sponsor or buildin my own if I feel froggy. Hand polishing the speedlines & a complete strip of the paint bout got me ready to pull my hair out. LoL

Right now i just gotta buy headers & get a 3.5in Ypipe, Transmission, & adjustable UMI stuff for the rear.

IF I get all the bugs out of it & getter dialed in. Then I will prolly come to the shootout & do a trip to the folks before. So I can hit it on the way home. LoL prolly need a trailer since the fuel milage will suck with 42lb injectors & a 58mm throttle body. If I get better than 10mpg I will prolly just drive it since I dont trust the ole lady behind the wheel with a trailer. LMAO
