also i am putting up a $50 bonus for #1 qualifier in each of the heads up classes.
and additional $50 for each class if you break the current record. this goes to the last man standing with the record.

LTX Outlaw.=Tony Shepherd 8.853

LTX Modified N/A.=Mike Verdolotti 10.299

I'll have my car ready early this summer so I should be good. I can't run bracket or index due to the trans brake and extreme NA is out due to my weight and lexan. So if I do run its got to be Outlaw, oh well I'll show have a good time get my *** smoke by the big boys.

You can run in Index or Bracket and just not use the trans brake right?

You can leave off of a foot brake and still run both classes. Just put both hands on the wheel nowhere near the button.

The glide is rpm shifted, I guess that might be an option. The A-1 converter really likes the trans brake thou. Are you allowed 4-link in those two classes.

4-link is allowed in both.

LTX Index
No Limit in Entries. This class is a "heads-up" class. Must have LT1-based engine. Trick Flow 21 deg. heads permitted (PN TFS-30400008-M54). No electronics (includes trans-brakes, delay boxes, throttle stops, power adder controllers). Car and driver must meet NHRA certifications for the time the car is running. Three rounds only. The driver who's average ET is closest to the quickest ET of the determined index bracket is the winner. Index bracket is determined by the fastest ET of the three rounds.
15.00 - 14.50
14.49 - 14.00
13.99 - 13.50
13.49 - 13.00
12.99 - 12.50
12.49 - 12.00
11.99 - 11.50
11.49 - 11.00
10.99 - 10.50
10.49 - 10.00
Example:
Driver 1: 12.34, 12.40, 12.16 = 12.30 AVG
Driver 2: 14.03, 14.10, 14.05 = 14.06 AVG
Driver 3: 11.99, 12.20, 12.15 = 12.11 AVG
Driver 2 wins since 14.06 is closer to 14.0 than 12.30 is to 12.00. Driver 3 was placed in the 11.99 - 11.50 bracket.

I'm getting my GTO finished in the next couple of weeks, and then I can start on the Z again, although I don't think I can get the car finished by late August financially. But we will see what happens I guess. Either way, I will have to run in Mod P/A with my EBC.

i hope to whoop my own record's *** of 10.29 by quite a bit...........if i have top qualifier im taking my $50 to the liquor store and buying community beer for everybody!!!! cheers!!!!!
