Getting ready for another LTx Shootout. How many of you guys will be making it this year?

I know there are some fast LTx cars on here that haven't made it the last four years. So what is your excuse for not making it this year? For those who haven't made it yet, it is a great event with a great group of LTx fans and some good racing to go along with it.

I'm gonna get blasted for this one but I dont race it, I just enjoy a well spirited drive every once and a while I know.

While I don't understand, I understand. I know of a guy who has a 1996 Z28: 385ci/M6, procharged/intercooled. AFR 227 (1126s), 9" and SOOO MUCH MORE and doesn't race either. Its all good, as we would love to have some more LTx fans at the show/race/party.

Does this event require a functional Opti? Is there a class for an LTx with a 24x conversion?

nope (corrected, dont know wtf I said that for), go to the ltx shootout website. Has all your rules. They have races for any and all LTx platforms.

No functional Opti required. The Extreme Street classes allow the 24x conversion with a weight penalty, but I am sure that is not a problem with the Impala.

I can't get the class rules to scroll down completely so I can read them for ex-street-na and below that.

You have to scroll the page down and click on the red dot to the side of the rules. I had the same issues the first time.

Just tried that again as I've already tried that unsuccessfully, and a no go.

You want to grab that red dot and drag it down with your mouse to scroll the rules. They aren't set in stone yet but should be pretty damned close to final.

Glen Koenig- they will let you run in any class besides street stock with a 24x conversion.
