Yeah, body is pretty straight. The passenger qtr panel needs some work and stuff but it's not that bad. I'm def looking foward to having it finished so I can start cruising it!! Right now I'm missing my car that was finished and pretty. LOL.

Oh yeah, the motor is really snappy and with a 2.56 rear gear it still blows the tires off!!

Is there any other car than an F-Body?

It sucks to see you sell the car, but you picked up a great project that should be a blast.

Thanks for all the good words guys. I'll still get on the forum all the time. The guy that bought my car called me last night. He told me he won a 5k street race. He's already got half his money back! I started spending money on my new project. I bought a Ram Air formula hood, rear bumper, and tail panel. I'm starting the body work this weekend. I hope to have it finished by the Turkey Run in November. It'll be cool to cruise it down there and hang out.

Put a build thread in the sbc/bbc section under this one. Maybe noone will give it the boot for being pontiac powered. lol I'm sure we'd all enjoy keeping up with it. You might wanna slip an LS3 or L92 in there in a few years. I'm gonna put together a carbed LSx one day soon.

I was def. thinking of going LSX down the road. It's not like the car is all original so I don't think it will really matter if I make a swap. It'll probably be a turbo setup though.

I hear there are people making alot of power on stock 5.3's with turbos for cheap. I've seen 5.3 long blocks for as little as $350 with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty from big junkyards like LKQ. It would be cool to get something running with one of them while building up a bigger/stronger replacement. Or if you can afford it, go big all at once like Big$$Matt. lol
