What guideplates does TFS recommend on those heads, those comps look to be slightly off.

My bad, my old setup had self aligning rockers. Iv ran those rockers and guidplates on the 396 for 2 years with no problems. We put a bigger cam in it and did the 24x swap and since everything looked good put everything back together

The spacing is likely different. If you're not out of clearance in the head's pushrod slot, just run a set of Isky adjustables to get the alignment back.

Nice looking engine btw. Best of luck with it.

I actually just spoke with my engine builder and asked him about it and he said he noticed it and will be getting a set of adjustables for me. Thanks for the input guys

Nice build here. hope you get it running soon.

I noticed you have a VFN SUNOCO hood on your car.
Do you have any pictures of the underside of your hood?
I am doing an intake re-do on my ride and need some clearance to go over the radiator.

Has it been to the dyno? How about track, ET? horsepower estimate? Very nice build, u can always tell when someone takes the time and money to do it right! Where did u get the pieces for the MTI lid. Watch out when u put the rubber pieces inside that lid the seams will crack and split, happened to me.
