Thanks guys for the help on the vaccum. Now that ive saved up and almost there for my new suspension, i have a question about what suspension to get. My plan is to build a streetable 93 Drift LT1. Theres a drift track here in Orlando and wanting to know what suspension is needed. I know coilovers are mostly used but just incase anything specific. I know most of the guys on here are drag guys. just figure I wouldnt mind throwing a challenge to you guys for the help.

Lol I love the smartassness on here. My car will only stay 1 color and put some nice Matte Black Wheels. No need for import stickers or body kit. The car stays a pro touring drift type Z28!!!!!!!

You can stay with your current chassis but you will be limiting yourself quite a bit. If you are looking to get into the sport and want to progress and be competitive you will need to choose a different chassis. With a boat load of money you could make your car workable but a 240sx would be a better way to go. I am currently building a LS6 that I am dropping into a s13 240sx. I have been competing in the USA and Canada the last 4 years with a 4 banger turbo but V8's are overwhelming the sport and everyone will need to adapt to stay competitive. As for the suspension, so people think its slammed with full hard damper...WRONG. Suspension needs to be tuned well to make the car stable and controllable. full adjustable rear arms and well a nice set of coil over is a great start. You can PM if you'd like and I can give you a hand getting yourself set up....with a 240, I cant give advice on a Camaro.

I would think a set of lowering springs with good shocks big sway bars & UMI adjustable type rear suspension Adjusted for mass wheel spin & a torque monster stroker motor to keep those wheels lit up till ya let of the gas
Oh & prolly an adjustable proportioning valve & delete the antilock brakes!!!

I would think your parking brake would need to be upgraded somehow to whip that thing into corners with some authority...

I don't think you can drift that car, well with it being that heavy it would just push the front and never get around the corners very well. You can get a 240 for 500 with no motor or trany. Then drop the LS and T56 in. coil overs, 400 bucks for some steering arms and you can go to town. I just finished mine with an LS.
