Quick story on the car. My first corvette I ever bought back in 96". Sold the car for an 02" ZO6. Six years later I bought the car back. The current mods I am doing to the car: rebuilt motor, new connecting rods and pistons, new cam, the heads cleaned up, american racing long tubes headers, DRM coilover, all new bushing front and back, new sway bars, front C5 brake kit, new fly wheel and clutch, and jet performance tunning softwear.
....ooooooh the memories of that thing. Too much fun, growing up with a car like that. Probably my first 160+ mph rides/drives was in that green machine. Glad you were able to find it again. Missed it. Should be better then ever once it comes back out. Soon. Here's a pic or two that I have of it...more to follow ofcourse.
I have owned two C4's out of the five vettes I have owned and IMHO, aside from the ZR1, the 96 LT4 is the pinnacle of C4 design. Good luck with the build.
I was planning for a Lsx swap , but since the motor is doing great and can compete with modded cars. I forgot about it. Maybe in the future when they don't sell optisparks lol.

I've seen your car on Corvette forums. Nice ride. I like it much better on LS1tech. Seems to be alot of people over there with their nuts in a vise. Much more down to earth racer types here, not the my car will melt if my ride sees rain types.
Nice, C4s are some of my favorite Corvettes ever built, glad you guys were able to get it back again.
Thanks man,...we agree. Josh and I have good memories of Black Widow ZR1's way back in the day...since then..we've been hooked on the mod bug. The C4 platform opened up the high speed doors for us. Since then,..we've never looked back. To us, the C2's started it off but, the C4's we're the nitrous in the combustion chambers so to speak. Love the look of these cars. They also have a bone stock, all original C4 LT4 collectors edition. Sweet ride,..less then 10,000 miles on it. Stikk has GSC's. lol.

lol. Opti spark. You just gave me chills. lol. eventually, I think we wanna set this thing up for coil on plug LSX style. We were gonna do an LS swap but...just the way things worked right now, he had another LT4 long block...so, it only made sense to use that,...just did pistons/rods/milled heads and bigger...new valves...etc..cam...rockers. We did have several LSX motors able to be used for it but,...to do another major(this is kinda major too but,...more simple in comparison to our other projects) motor/conversion,...the time, and money to do that NOW,...with the other projects, we'd be tied up on the car for another year probably. The build in this direction,....we can have it done in just a few weeks...all things going well.
The GS LT4 model,....is my 3rd favorite C4. 1, 95 ZR1. 2. SledgeHammer. 3. GS. 4 Callaway GT racecar...the C7 i think.

Yup, which makes this car pretty freaking cool. It'll be a breath of fresh air in a world dominated by C5's and C6's....something I see everyday. Not at all a bad site....

If it were a perfect world, I'd have a clean C4, C5, and C6. Or I'd be content with a clean C6 and C4. Not sure how any potential future significant other would take that proposition though.
