I need to get it on the dyno to tune it. But I can tell you it will bury the tach and be pulling HARD. It pulls harder at 6700+ than 6K

Man I've been following this build and gotta say those are great out the box times!! When you factor in DA/tune/60s with upgraded suspension it's a lot left on the table!!:

Thanks man. A lot of people dont understand that, but todays runs were some very rough shakedown passes.

I can push the tune a lot more, I have rev limiter issues. The launches are embarrassing because the stock suspension does so much goofy stuff the car is all over the place.

The only weight reduction is stereo stuff, front bumper support and washer tank as well. Plenty to go there.

It's certainly a work in progress, but I'm going to take care of this bottom end and progress toward a more drag oriented setup, that's still very streetable when desired.

Lightweight brakes, tubular front end, solid roller, better intake mani, full AFCO suspension, some more mild weight reduction, fine tuning the engine and chassis. Faceplate the trans, maybe a better clutch setup (soft loc).

It still has a lot on the table. I feel its very respectable for a .030 over LT1.

I need to build a stroker one of these days and make some real power

Now now there's no reason to make a thing. I like to see all times and mph throughout the run is all. If it's that big a deal forget about it.

It's cool. Ill post the 11.04 slip on the .062 jet.

Believe it or not, my fastest pass of the day was the very last pass, and they didn't print it!

I was pissed, it is on video though.

I think after this shakedown outing I need a taller gear, so its going to get probably a 3.73 and light weight spool soon.
