Alright guys, ive got a few questions on some LT1 stuff. I will be working on a buddies 95 LT1 when we get back stateside, ive been trying to research as much as I can in my off time but the internet sucks pretty bad out here.

Heres my quick questions, on a 95 will it have 2 or 4 O2 sensors?

I plan on looking on this site for a used cold air intake, im trying to research this, because most stuff that ive delt with it seems most cold airs are overpriced for what you gain out of it. What would be recomended in this department.

What vendor sells an egr block off kit? Id like to purchase from a vendor before google fooing some parts.

Lastly who is recomended for sending a PCM out for a tune after I do exaust, intake, pull the egr crap and air tube out?

Thanks for any info, im hoping to do some more research and answer these questions, so that when I get back to the states I can order some parts and start getting down on this car.

 

unless youre building the motor and getting lt's, i wouldnt bother pulling the emissions stuff off and getting a tune

block offs? idk about a sponser, ive always looked on Ebay.

Bryan Herter*. he tuned my cam only/bolt on set up and did a pretty good job. it was safe for sure.

 

EGR can be found on e-bay for about 25 bucks. PCM4less has done all my mailorder tuning and have been spot on. Airfoil and CAI are all about the same. Just pick up the cheapest used one you can find. Get a Kool blue filter. Same as the K&N for half the price.

 

95 is ODB1 and only has 2 O2's

As said earlier, 95 is OBD1 and will only have (2) O2 sensors.

Yes ill be going with some long tubes, ill be running true duals on this car. I also figured that if im sending the PCM out for a tune i should ditch the EGR stuff.

Ill see if I can find a used intake in the classifieds.

95 has 2 o2 sensors. Mine did, reason it does is it is 1.5 OBD not OBD2. So you on have two pre-cat o2 sensors.

Any cold air intake will work.

EGR block offs can just get them from Jegs.

If you just want a tune for exhaust, intake and delete emissions, I could do that for you.
