Default Trans part question

So there is a part I need to get for my trans, it is located at the end on the bottom of the transmission pan, and the part I need has that ball at the end of it. Is it a trans bracket? It is what will get my trans into gear. I need to know the name of it, so when I go to the autozone to get it. Thanks

Picture of where the part is missing may help. Auto Manual?? On Auto The shifter linkage is usually attached to the cable that runs to the gear selector on the car and then there is a shifter shaft that the linkage attaches to and runs into the side of the trans. Some earlier years have the neutral safety switch on the shifter shaft but any info on year??? guessing it's the 94 listed in sig??
For manuals someone else may need to chime in since I have never owned a manual F-body.

He needs the shift linkage arm that bolts on the trans with the small ball on it. The cable snaps onto it. He is good from the shifter and cable down. He needs it for a 94 camaro. Later years had a larger ball on it and won't work. I am putting the engine and trans in his car. His old trans was given away and he forgot to get that part. The new trans was in a b body car and had the solid arm bracket that went to a column shifter.

Should be able to tell from these what the part name is your looking for. These are pulled from the 1997 factory service manual.
