questions about a lt1

questions about a lt1 Ok so a kid I know got an lt1 6 speed formula, headers, catback, lt4 hotcam, msd opti, cai, 1le elbow, rebuilt engine.
Now keep in mind he is domesticated rice. Talks a lot of **** and comes up with every excuse he can for why he lost!
He raced a c6 on the highway from a roll and won
Raced another lt1 camaro that was more modded and got his *** handed to him. He had no traction, oh I was pulling on him, my clutch was slipping, blah blah blah.
Beat a stock powerstroke woopie doo...
Has never been to a timed track but somehow knows his car is in the 12's? Is that possible with the given setup?
Oh and he could also beat a gto that runs 11.41????
I'm just. Afraid the kid is gonna get his stupid *** killed, either by one of my buddies (calling everyone out and calling people with nice cars that don't race ******) or street racing.

Almost forgot, he says my car is **** and all he knows about it is it has a lq4 with a car intake manifold.
That still isn't finished, and he has an even bigger **** talking ****** of a friend with an lt1 they both like to race on Facebook.

Depending on the driver with the goat he should kick the **** out of your so called friend if the gto hooks I heard they don't get good traction. As far as his car being only a hot cam there are bolt on lt1 cars that could beat him. Such as cars with stalls and gears in the rear.

That's the thing we had the street shootout yesterday and he wouldnt do it. Just like he talked so much **** on the goat and wouldn't run him. We told him to go to the track yesterday and if he even hit a 12.99 we would give him money... No show.

First, did you or anyone see him beat the C6. cuz I say his setup couldn't beat it unless whoever was driving the Vette sucked.
This kids mods are good for maybe 320 or 330 to the wheels and with a good hook at a well prepped track could get him in the high 12's so beware of that bet.
Find out what the other guy in the Camaro that beat him runs, add a 10th or two that should give you an idea how fast he really is.
If old boy in the GTO has any driving skills it should be a slaughter from the roll or dig.

We told him the vette wasn't racing, the gto can drive, this kid talks about a different vehicle he races everyday. He has pissed us all off. Especially me because my car is a lt1 car converted and its making me feel like he is giving me a bad rap.

There are tons of hotcam cars in the 12's, thats very possible.
That doesnt mean everything he is saying is true, however...lol he may not have any mods at all and tells everyone he has a ton of **** done to it...ive ran into those guys before

A base pre 2008 C6 or a C6 Z06?
A C6 base only makes 400hp at the flywheel. Its the same engine as a GTO 6.0.
So figure roughly 15% drivetrain lose. Thats ~340rwhp. The Corvette is lighter than a Fbody though.
His setup could run 12s.

I don't know your mods but adding a 100 shot on your car so your sure you got him covered and punk him out at your local hangout, every chance you get. Sooner or later he'll get enough **** from everyone that he'll either shut up or run you. I'd hope for the race, then piledrive his ***.

The one that pissed us off is calling the mustang owner a ***** he has an 04 roush that has no mods besides wheels and is in good shape. Looks great autographed by jack himself. And was leaving the track after watching some buddies race met him on the highway and instantly got on Facebook calling him out and a *****. The mustang ran a 14.39 yesterday rolling off the line
Anyone that talks **** is usually full of ****, Ex, One guy had an Cammed / heads, Turbo LT1, same thing claimed he could beat any ones car, at the Drive in Meets, he would not race, Mine..Supercharged LT, One day while I was tuning at a shop he showed up, He says " Oh there's the Silver Bullet" Wanna Race? I just raced a supercharged cobra and was a waste of my time. He didn't know that I had pulled off the supercharger and he surely would of handed me my *** but I pulled his bluff. I said, Yea lets race for $1.000. There's an ATM across the street and we can hit it on the high way, Run to the top end if you want. Well, he started sputtering like a bad Opti and said, Well the tranny in the car belongs to a friend and I don't want to break it..Ha!!
A hotcam LT1 can be in the 11s with a good driver and a bit of weight reduction. With an average driver full weight, high 12s. With a shitty driver and full weight and a smartass behind the wheel, low 14s.
