Get a set of Metric Deep-well sockets and a set of extensions with various lengths from harbor freight: 30ish dollars. A 2 foot serpentine belt tensioner tool (essentially a slim 3/8 drive breaker bar-esque thing) also helped me get leverage when removing plugs from the top.

with the right headers and over a dozen plug changes anything over 30 minutes is to long... I remember the days of plugs taking hours...

No Calvin there the straight up shorties that are stupid and have all the emissions built into them. And I belive they are the 1 5/8's and not the 3/4 I was looking at the pacesetters with the off road their not to pricey 550 for both shipped.

Tubular K member, Longtube headers, removed all emissions.
It's easier than a Honda Civic now

which headers are you talking about? can anyone else recommend 30 minute plug swap headers?

I'd like to go long tube maybe someday. if not due to this i was going to port the stock manifolds and call it a day. Im not spending hours to swap out plugs and from what Ive seen lt headers call for hours sometimes too.

Almost any LT headers are good for plug changes from what I've heard. I run pacesetter LTs myself.

On some depending on brand or model the exh tube wraps around the plugs pretty close making it a bitch to take off and also burning the plug boots.

Purchase a 5/8s sparkplug socket with the 5/8s hex head on it instead of the 3/4" cut it down a little bit so its shorter. I do the majority of mine with that socket and a wrench, on the real easy ones I use a rachet. It takes about 30 minutes.

After you get a tubular K-member the passenger side becomes pretty damn easy

I use a 1inch swivel spark plug socket for most. For the rest i use a 19mm gear wrench and a spark plug socket cut in half. Makes life easy as pie.
