Here are some pics of the system installed.
The system is a quad tip exhaust system.
We also now have a 49 state legal system for those of you who live in EPA regulated areas.

Great a true dual setup that's no doubt going to cost more than what most lt1 owners payed for their entire car... Not hating on kooks IMO they are the highest quality headers along with stainless works u can get, but their prices are... Whoa.
Edit, saw the price... Can a kooks rep please explain to me how a 1900$ price tag is justified for like 30 feet of stainless pipe...? I could outfit like 5 cars with brand new stainless catbacks for that.

That's pretty ridiculous. $1200 for headers plus another $1900 for their duals...$3100 for an exhaust system? On top of the PHR relocation bracket - $210 - AND the driveshaft loop, another $100.
$3610.
I have to . That's highway robbery. Almost an insult to the LT1 community.

At that price who would be stupid enough? Exhaust is exhaust. It's a hollow pipe. What benefits does this package have to justify such a price?! Especially considering most typical LT1 f-body owners drive LT1 cars because (usually) they can't afford the newest and greatest thing. Maybe it would be one thing if it were on display but it's tucked under the car being pelted by road debris where no one could ever appreciate it except the owner.

I have to agree.
I don't mind spending more than most people for a quality product, but even I was blown away at that price... are you kidding me!
For that kind of money it better jump out of the box, make me a sandwich and then install itself.

FWIW I just finished installing this setup on my 96 TA. Yes, it is expensive but the fact Kooks builds a superior product and stands behind it speaks volumes on the pricing structure. It shows in design, workmanship, fit, finish, and performance. I couldn't ask for a better product and it sounds and performs great (even with the cats on a 650hp beast). I run nothing but Kooks in my Vettes and my F-bodies and recommend nothing else if you can afford it. Of course if I were writing this 20 years ago during my college days I'd have said "HE'LL NO!" and gone the cheap route. It does still sit a little low but after some tweaking it has plenty of clearance.
