Most would indicated 80 percent or more which is not true. Less then 50 percent of all politicians are lawyers. obviously this statistic fluctuates from elections cycle to election cycle. I would wager it is some where at 40-45 percent right now maybe slightly more.

Sounds like you got "profiled" as a ricer; the cops around here are also more likely to harass a 4 banger car with loud exhaust than a loud old truck or V8 muscle car... 4 cylinder discrimination

The police officer can cite you for what he believes is a violation of the law. It's up to the court to interpret. You need something that will prove this was a replacement for a stock exhaust, IMO the tip is irrelevant, but who knows, if the ticket is cheap enough, just pay it and move on if it doesn't require a court date.

Depending on the severity of the offense committed, if you do any of that you are guaranteed a ticket.
