I have the XE224/230 LSA 112 (AKA COMP503) cam in mine right now. Imo, it's the cam for stock heads and no juice. Now the older comp305 cam may be better for a stock headed juice car. It's got a tad more exhaust duration and an LSA of 114. I believe the specs are 220/230 LSA 114.

I have an A4 with my own tune and it idles rock soild with very, very little lope to it.
Not much idle in this video but you get the idea. http://www.angelfire.com/ultra2/z28
This car is still on the stock TC and stock 1.5 rocker arms. The brakes hold it fine. I am going to swap the cam for a 227/236 LSA114 and put a 75 wet shot on after the 3200rpm stall goes in. Then it's time for that rematch with my buddies stock Z06 that keeps blowing my doors off.
