^^ maybe on the super fast race cars. I'll be happy with mid-low 11's and you're aiming to break a record. Good looking car though, I'd love to see it run

I like how those limiters are set up.......easy adjustment......I was thinking about that but I was afraid the metal there may not have been strong enough to hold the suspension.......car looks awesome!!! very nice build

That is how mine are done, but with cable instead of chain. A 1/2" adjustment makes a difference. Been that way for over five years. Zero problems. I've seen a chain deal, all under the fender. Looks like kind of a pain to make last minute adjustments in the staging lanes.

Made a little more progress tonight. Still need a couple fittings and the fuel system will be finished up. Getting close to only needing wiring done. Ugh! Lol

It's been a while since I did an update, so I thought I would fill you all in with some more pics.

Got MOST of the wiring done....

Then I took the car back to my chassis guy to get some small little things finished up, I pick it up tomorrow, then I just have a few little things to finish up at home and it should be able to fire up!! Hopefully going to go to the track a week from tonight.

Is that a CSR pump, I had one like it that had a shaft seal fail and try to overheat my motor.

Well it's ready to fire up, but for some reason the ECU isn't seeing a crank signal from the crank trigger. Kinda have to have that for everything else to work. We traced all the wires and made sure we had continuity and all is good there. Might be a bad sensor or possibly even a bad ECU. Have to dig in a little deeper on Sunday.

It runs! My wife took a video of it running on her phone and she uploaded it to Facebook. I can't seem to get it to youtube, so you're more than welcome to go to my page and watch it if you'd like.

Here's a short video from the dyno the other day. This is the first WOT pull we made. Only went to about 5000 rpm, we're creeping up on the power, making sure it has enough fuel in it as the boost rises. This pull it made about 12 psi of boost, the next pull it went to 6300 and it made 17.5 psi. It's on it's way to making 22-24 psi at 7000. As we were getting ready to make a full pull, the nose cone for the starter broke off. So we were done for the day. Oh well, there were a couple small issues I wanted to fix up anyway, so I'll replace the starter and get back to the dyno next week to finish it up!
