The LT1 car is gone, enter a 2002 Vette

That vette is SUPER SEXY. I wouldve done it in a heart beat too. The lt1 is cool, but its not a vette. I for one think the vette is the top of the line if your into new age GM. Not just because it IS gm's top of the line sports car, but because it looks good, its got power, and it handles great. The fbody may have been faster in this case, but a vette is a vette. Maybe its because Ive never owned a corvette that I cant appreciate the fbody over the vette, but this is not a daily driver situation anyways. As nice as the camaro was, a vette is a status symbol in the end and it says more then a camaro can. it turns heads and everyone likes them.
Plus its a 02, with 50k miles, black, and a 6 speed...that says enough right there. Its not some mid 80's pile. Its been taken care of and you can tell from one picture. Also like someone said, youd never be able to sell the fbody, and then go buy this corvette, its a trade only deal and I think he came out on top. Id bet a 10 second fbody isnt exactly reliable or street friendly.
I say throw a centrifugal supercharger on it, a cat back, headers if you want...and then just drive.

IMO bad move. Those are no where near as cool as a f body and IMO they suck to drive.
I would much rather not drive them. My dad had one and I just never liked it. SLow, shitty *** IRS suspension and seen everywhere.
NOw on the other hand 50s-60s vettes, in a heartbeat I would own one

THIS!!!!!!!!!
There is a guy in the classifieds on here with a green LT1 Trans Am, runs tens all motor, has been in GMHTP and he can't GIVE it away at $10,500.
Full pop list NADA is $24,000 on this Vette with it's low mileage.
Loan value is $20,000.
I "think" I did the right thing.
The LT1 Car is with some friends that know how to take care of a car like that, they will enjoy it and not destroy it.

Yep, I couldnt give away my LT1 roller at $1000. But true story my 98 Vert got totaled. I paid $5000 for it, I got $8600 for it and bought myself my GTO. If I was in my LT1 I would have gotten screwed over bigtime. Great move. I dont think its a $20K car as I have seen my friends get C5Zs for that or less, but its still a mid 10K car.
