Well it dint go as planned but I'm glad we caught the wiring issue now. Had a buddy come over to look at the interior wiring that was having issues before I put the car down and he found some scary **** with bare wires I knew nothing about. Looks like next weekend will be plenty of interior wiring clean up and fixes and go from there.

Well its done, we lost track of time and worked on the car from about 2:30 pm to 4:00 am lmao but she moved under her own power forward and reverse for the first time in 4 years!
I want to get it somewhat cleaned off and maybe it's first drive around the block today.

Well found some leaks, had to kinda get creative with some O-rings and my valve cover bolts but so far so good.
Bad news is I'm pretty sure my driver side header flange isn't flat and is leaking on 3 ports so I need to figure that out. Need either a thicker gasket to try or take it off and take a trip to the machine shop to have it milled smooth.
Any one know of a good thick gasket to try, I'm using the felpro 1406 I believe.

Long story short I was never happy with the driver header and the leaks were getting worse so I pulled the header tonight and to say the least I'm not happy with this header at all.
I can either drop a ton of work into this header that I'm not thrilled with or take my time this winter and build a custom one on the car with some help.. I really wish I would have never used lt1boost to help on this build, it's been nothing but a nightmare from the get go and a lot of wasted money I feel.

That's too bad - I know how you feel. When I bought SLP stainless headers (way back when Moby Dick was a minnow) I couldn't believe they sent them out that way. The 3 individual flanges (bad choice to begin with) were not only twisted, but uneven on different planes. I called them up to bitch about it and ask how this could happen using a jig, but they just said they would probably seal up and they weren't getting complaints from anyone else. It took me 2-1/2 hours on a shop belt sander and a few coarse belts to even out the flanges - I shouldn't have had to do any of that... And there was no way in hell those were going to seal up as uneven as they were. As if headers weren't already hard enough to install. I sometimes wonder if these places have ANY semblance of quality control or ANY outgoing inspection before some kid boxes them up and sends them out. Anyway, good luck with getting that resolved and maybe doing it yourself gets it done right at least. Looking forward to seeing it when it is finished!
