Yes your tune needs to be spot on with those pistons. Also what is your cam specs?

Im only asking because of the type of springs that you will need on that setup.

also those lifters can only handle so much spring pressure.

Cant remember cam specs off the top of my head it's a mild boost cam and the springs are dual patriot springs good to 650 lift and i had L.E. set them knowing it's going to see average 8-15 lbs and max of 20lbs.

And yeah the 10 bolt is going to blow then get up graded.

ok, ya im sure he set them up correct then. Only because that cam will need the correct spring pressure for the boost. COnsidering it will need about 30 lbs more spring pressure for the 15lbs of boost.

as for the 10 bolt, I know many people still rocking them with plenty of boost and NOT have one

Im sure the ten bolt built right can handle some power, i've seen it but it already has a nice noise to it from the nitrous launches with the last set up. Im sure if i dropped about a grand in it she would last but with me putting a 2 step on this combo im sure it will give eventually. A 315 wide sticky and a boost launch will likely be the end of the little guy.
