I love how my TA seats have excellent lumbar support and also how they have that rocking adjust ability. The rocking allows my knees to be set just right in the seat. With my long legs the front of most seats give no support and are lower than my knees, but the TA seats allow me to rock the seat back enough that my knees actually touch the seat.

I actually cant even get into my car right now ( post major back surgery ) thank god I bought a new silverado.
But I agree the stock seats suck, but other sportier seats aren't as nice as you'd think...

I like the comfort of the cloth seats in my T/A. I find cloth seats more comfortable than leather because they breathe better. Leather makes me sweaty. The biggest annoyance of the T/A seats is the way they rattle and shake when nobody is sitting in them. Otherwise, they are great on long trips.

More than likely your cushions are shot guy. Its really easy fix get some new ones or good passenger side one's from a junkyard and replace yours. Its a 20min job. While your at it you could swap to the better cloth material in the 96+ cars. If you don't know how to take them apart there's a write up I made on v6f-body.com in the how to. I don't feel like going through all the trouble to link it on my phone. You will be surprised how much more comfy they are when the foam is all there.

My GTO was one of the most comfortable rides I ever had. I did plenty of 8-10 hour trips with no fatigue whatsoever. The seats are amazing. If I can pick up a set of black or factory blue seats in good condition for a decent price I am going to snag them. $800 is more than I would like to spend though, especially since they are not a quick bolt in.
I swapped to TA seats in my car. I absolutely love them for the better support in the corners. As far as comfort I didn't realize a difference, but I never had a problem in the Camaro seats either.

I have an rsx, the seats arent worth the price youd have to pay for them.
I would honestly go aftermarket with corbeau gts II If I had the money.
I run a corbeau FX1 pro for drivers side right now, learned fast that fixed back is no good for these cars. But hey, it weighs like 7 lbs lol.
Heres a pic of the gts II's I found, from this website so someone runs em
