^ those look stock I like that. I'm on the hunt for Pontiac seats as of now but if the right aftermarket seat becomes available I'm down like a drunk clown. What's the best least expensive aftermarket seat out there minus the eBay ones?

The bigger problem is getting them to fit, corbeau does make a seat bracket for these cars. You cant just take the seat bracket off the stockers and put it on the aftermarket. I also used 1/4 or 1/8 flat steel to make an adaptor for the corbeau bracket so my 6'4 *** could fit in.
Just letting you know if you go corbeau thats an issue. I dont know where other people get their brakets, universal ones dont fit due to the contour of the floor.
I picked up my corbeau fx1 pro for 150 or 125 on craigslist and its practically new! So check craigslist for sure, ricers get rid of aftermarket seats all the time. Ive always heard great things about recaros from volkswagons, but seat brackets could get interesting.

My car came with matrix racing seats. They are cheapos lol but actually pretty comfy. They are on summit for like 140 each. I have no clue what the previous owner did for rails

My GTO was one of the most comfortable rides I ever had. I did plenty of 8-10 hour trips with no fatigue whatsoever. The seats are amazing. If I can pick up a set of black or factory blue seats in good condition for a decent price I am going to snag them. $800 is more than I would like to spend though, especially since they are not a quick bolt in.
I swapped to TA seats in my car. I absolutely love them for the better support in the corners. As far as comfort I didn't realize a difference, but I never had a problem in the Camaro seats either.

Fourth gen seats (especially camaro) feel a lot better. They are not couch soft but they are definitely softer.

I actually like the seats in my 94 firebird. I'm only 5' 11" and 220 though. wear a 36. Even when I was 200 in a 34 I liked em. The biggest problem is the side bolsters didn't keep me in the seat on track days and I was holding onto the steering wheel to stay put. long drives have always been nice. I do have a long torso though, so maybe that makes a difference.

this was a special group by when they were a sponsoring vendor on here. they made it ebony and matched the camaro interior pattern, that's why it looks stock. they are significantly lighter than stock, probably 15-20lbs a piece lighter. the leather quality is excellent, and they are incredibly comfortable, but they were not cheap. 1300 for pair shipped back in '08.
