Tuning options? Anyone used LMT? Guess HP?
Got a 95 z28 t56 car I picked up cheap. Kinda throwing it together as a budget build. Build as follows.
LT1 .30 over Mahle forged pistons/rods stock crank 11-1 compression
LE1 heads and cam set up 232/240 .578/.574 110 LSA
Ported stock intake 58mm TB
Pacesetter LT's/ Hooker catback
Elec. WP/UD Pulley/Walbro 255/Holley FP Reg/30lb injectors
Stock t56 spec 2 clutch Stock LS1 aluminum DS
Stock 10 bolt w/ 4:10s
Anyone used Late Model Throttle out of Waukesha WI ?
Who are some other options on a good dyno tune?
Was also considering getting rid of the MAF and going speed density. What's your input on that?
Thanks guys.

I recommend MAF on most setups to be honest. The SD tune is difficult on an LT1 due to not having a custom operating system (LSx computers or aftermarket EFI) and the gm equation takes into account IAT to much and it will run lean with higher Iat's, not a problem in closed look b/c the 02's will compensate but WOT could possibly go lean.
You won't be bumping up against the 512 g/s limit with your setup and your cam will be easy on a MAF based setup.
Anyone who can tune EFI can tune an LT1 computer IMO
Ed Wright has been posting a lot lately I am sure he will chime in, he knows a thing or two about tuning

I was just curious about the sd tune. I know on my Gto we did it and it worked great. As far as a tune in the kc area there are a few guys good with the lsx stuff but as far as the ltx all I hear is horror stories.
