Alright, prove this guy wrong.
Alright,
Go to your chevy dealership, ask an experienced salesperson if they made a
factory LT4 engine for some 1993-1997 camaros. As a chevy salesperson, i believe
i should know this buddy.
Here's the item:

And his e-mail:
ShayneStuff@aol.com
He's misinforming some unsuspecting bidders, so give him hell.

I hate that ****. He even has a pic of his LT1 there. Guess what? No powdercoated red manifold.
I sent him an email. I also sent a message to the high bidder and told him it wasn't an LT4.

The frontend has obviously had a collision and been replaced, and the dash is cracked wide open. Not to mention the hood is unpainted.... Trending Topics
Shayne,
I noticed you posted that you have a 93 Camaro with a stock LT4. That is incorrect and should be changed. We are LS1, LT1 and LT4 specialists and know that is infact untrue. Just wanted to let you know that before it causes you problems.

Hey you dumb peice of ****, what are you trying to pull?
You don't know ****, you dumb mother f**ker, for being a Chevy salesperson. Your lying out of your *** goddamnit, now admit it to that dumb SOB who bought that overpriced hunk-of-junk of yours. I hope you die a horrible death under the tiretracks of the bewildered owner of that car once he finds out he is driving an LT1 powered Camaro. Thanks for your time.
JK just thought that would be funny to see his reply to that.
All MT 1996 vettes had LT4's , all AT 1996 vettes had LT1's, a very few F-bods got a LT4 from SLP in 1997. They were also available as crate engines.
"Chevy and SLP agreed to produce 100 1997 LT4 SSs, all white with hugger orange stripes, celebrating the Camaro's 30th birthday (the original white/hugger orange stripe Camaro was actually a 1969 model, but it looked cool, so who cares!). The LT4 SSs sold like hotcakes, with rumor that some dealers were selling them for upwards of $60k (the MSRP was right at $40k).
With the success of the LT4 SSs, and with some LT4s still in inventory, GM and SLP agreed to produce another 100 1997 LT4 Firehawks. Unfortunately, by the time word got out and orders began coming in, and with production deadlines at Pontiac, only 29 were ultimately built (with one prototype also in existence)."
Yes the guy is full of crap no 1993 stock LT4 Z28. Show him LT4.com maybe it will change his mind probably not though.
He or the previous owner could have needed to have the bottom end rebuilt and gotten a deal on an LT4 bottom end and just put that in there with his stock heads and intake.
Somethin' to think about!
