Of my car after work yesterday. This weekend was the first time I've had it out since its been painted. Thought I'd share since I was pretty stoked to break it out finally.

Yeah, I used to date a girl that worked at the Hooters there. There used to be a pic of my car when I painted it the first time in the Hooters there, if that's what you're referring to. That has been about 6 years ago, though. Don't know if its still there.

At least 4 or 5 years ago. I would make the trip up there too, but I no longer have a car thanks to some kids vandalizing it.

Good looking car! What's next for it?

 

I'm getting married in 2 months, so there's not too much immediately. I've got a new engine harness sitting in the garage that I'll put in in the next week or 2. Also I have everything but the money for a tune for a hotcam swap. Probably will get all the appearance stuff I list done soon. I'm wanting to do a true dual exhaust, too since it isn't lowered anymore. I'll probably have all of that and the appearance stuff done within the next few months.

Appearance- Need to get the white Z28 emblems, do the brow tint, get another windshield banner, get either chrome or white lug nuts, and do a full LED conversion. After that, I'm done, but I said that last time I painted the car and then got that spoiler.

Performance- I've got a nice chunk set back for a 355 and I wanted to have AI do the H/C/I. I'm going to get a certain someone's 383 should he decide to go ahead and sell it. It is more motor (and more money) than what I was going to do, but if the opportunity is there, I'm going to jump on it. I'll be happy with either one. Whichever happens, I'd like to have something done by next summer as far as that goes.

Throw an plate kit in there somewhere, too. I'd really like to have that before a new motor.

This is the first time that the car hasn't been a daily driver for me and the first time that I've had more than one vehicle since I've owned it. It's definitely more of a toy now. I really look forward to being able to keep it clean all the time! I'm already enjoying that already. I love my white wheels, but they are a PITA to keep looking good.

Looks good dude. Not to knock you but you are supposed to trim the lip down around the edge of the hood. It looks a little funny to me in the first pic especially with that much stripe running down it.
