Default Connecting Rod Recomendation

I'm looking for some 6" rods that are rated at or slightly above 800hp. Who makes them?

Here is lunati's 6 inch h beam at $500 http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=174&gid=173

Here is callies rods selection
http://www.callies.com/compstar/connecting-rods/h-beam/

Don't skimp out on a connecting rod, especially if you plan on pushing 800 horse or more. Also I don't know what you want i beam, or h beam... I beams are stronger and alot of times don't require any clearancing on the block as opposed to h beams. hope this helps

If you choose an H-Beam on a stroker be careful on your rod bolt selection. Our blocks don't have too much clearance before hitting water, and it varies block to block.

Eagle H-Beam rods with ARP2000 rod bolts will make the clearance easy. It will handle 800HP.

As long as you aren't running L19 ARP bolts then you should have the clearance. ARP2000 cleared for mine. How much do you want to spend on rods? You still need to have them checked, since I don't trust any company out of the box.

Thanks for all the information. I will spend 900 if needed to get the right rods. 800 hp is my max number with a safety factor of about 20%.

callies compstar or carillo k1's with arp 2000 bolts will do that all day long.........also maters on the expected rpm range............i run olivers in mine but its overkill.......i did it for rpm capability and weight savings the olivers are 100+ grams lighter than a h beam and FAR stronger
