Quick Ac question!

Quick Ac question! On my Ac it was working fine earlier today but now it just won't come on.
I went to just switch it on and it just blew warm air. I looked at the compressor and it wasn't engaged while on the control panel it was on "max" so could I just be low on freon and it's not telling it to come on or what else could it be? It's a brand new Ac system from late 2011.

Scan for a DTC 61. It will keep the a/c compressor from engaging and it does not turn on the SES. Deleting the code with a scanner or resetting the PCM will clear it. But, if it set, then low charge is probably the reason and it will do it again.
