720 HP LT1 would anyone be interested?
Just throwin this out there was thinking about selling my motor and thought this might be a good place to see if there was any interest in buying it? Also what it might be worth?
Its a:
385 (4.040 X 3.75)
Light weitght RPM 4340 crank under cut bob weights 2.100 rod journal
K1 H beam rods
Diamond Pistons
total seal .031 .031 3mm ring package
Canton oil pan
LT4 heads (made in to a raised runner 23* head) flow 325cfm @ .700
Comp soild roller .740 lift cam 270 duration at 50
Edelbrock super victor set up for EFI with dominator flange 2971
.903 lifters off set
jesel 1.8 in and 1.7 ex
stainless intake valves and titanium exhaust valves
It made 718 @ 7700 and 552 @ 6100
Has been quickest ET of 6.229 @ 111.60 in a 96 Trans Am weighes 3250 with me in it and running a Power Glide
Most MPH was 112.50
Just currious what something like this goes for because I build everthing my self, was wanting to sell to build a 400+ motor out of one of the bowtie blocks that I have. All I have ever done is bracket race with this engine so there probably some more ET still left in it if you are wanting to heads up race.

Badass. I'm assuming you did the intake to match too then. I would have thought a dominator supervic would be too big for a 385 but it seems to work great for ya.
Killer build, would turn some heads at the shootout in an all out 1/4 chassis.

A 6.22 is roughly a 9.75-9.80. You'd rock out in Mod N/A and you are overweight for the class. Damn nice engine you built right there. For a price? No clue, but you'd take a beating for sure. I know you have at least $9k into it not counting your porting work that you did. I bet you'd have a hard time fetching $5k for it. LT1 is just bad news for most people. They steer clear of them.

Joelster, Yea I know that's why I was asking what people think it worth? Sucks i know.
I just built this thing because I've had this car and parts for a long time and it's just result of many years of slowly up grading to make this kind of power. It started out as a heads and cam lol
All I do is bracket race and was wanting to put together another motor with a bunch of new parts that I've been acquiring.

I would rather watch it collect dust in a bag then sell it for $5k.
It's a buyers market for sure, but a lot of us have 10-15k in motors that don't make as much power as that setup.
I am also very interested in pics of those heads. That is a ton of work to put into stock castings and must have their fair share of epoxy/welding work done to handle that kind of flow. What size valves?

Yea I wish I had a ltx block, I could really be strolling then. Every time I find one someone wants 10k for them and it's just not worth it.
Puck I would like to run that ltx shoot out unfourtantly it just don't pay anything, was thinking about going but when there is 10 racetracks with in 2 hours of my house that pay between 800-2500.
